Bull and Cow in the Utah Mountain Landscape

This carving is 14 inches tall and 30 inches long, shaped into a wide antler beam with room for layered detail. I carved a bull and cow moose in a mountain setting, pulling from the kinds of terrain I know well here in Utah. The natural texture of the antler adds to the depth and feel of the landscape. It sits on a burned log from a forest fire in the same area as the inspiration for this piece come from.
